Gestalt Design Project is based on Project Fork component of Joomla = it's a project management system, designed to post projects, track progress, break projects into tasks, devide projects or tasks among the members, upload/download files needed for completion, etc.

Only registered members have an access to projects and tasks! Members log in occasionally and check if there's a new project available; if there is, they evaluate the project and/or different tasks, and decide if the project or a tasks is for them. They place a bid - at this point, placing a bid is done "manually", via email or contact features within the site - how much they would do a particular task or project for. Project Manager picks the best match - not necessarily the lowest bid - for each particular task, and the project is under way.

Any member can bring in a project, in which case that member becomes a Project Manager for that particular project. As such, the Manager not only delegates tasks, but can also keep some tasks for themselves to complete. Difference between fees charged to the client, and cost for completed tasks is what remains to MMX DESIGN company (if there is anything left).
