On November 8 at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota district judges Danielle Orlando, Diane Elias, and Mark Gibson chose Janalyn Bump, soprano from Wisconsin, to advance to the Upper Midwest Region Auditions in January.
