The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions for the Upper Midwest Region has a winner: mezzo soprano Emily Fons from the Wisconsin District was awarded First Place!
Congratulations!
Singers between 20 and 30 years old compete for prizes of up to $1,000 at the Districts, and up to $4,000 at the Upper Midwest Region and advancement to the Semi-Finals in New York and possibly the Grand Finals on March 14, 2010!
